The titular Crimson Court is present in the form of an all-new area to explore. There is a dark imagination at the core of The Crimson Court an admirable (if somewhat disturbing) dedication to finding new ways to twist the knife. It finds fiendishly original methods of ratcheting up the pressure as you juggle the physical and mental health of your heroes, along with the management of the Hamlet. It warps familiar mechanics in new and unexpected ways. ![]() It takes the building blocks of the dungeon you know and stacks new, bizarre architectural tortures on top of them. The Red Hook Studios-developed title was a successful Kickstarter project and it is also now available for Linux users.But, while all of these additions represented incremental improvements, The Crimson Court represents a sea change. Sickhead Games is helping the team out with the console and handheld ports. Town Events are scheduled for release in mid to late May, and the PS4 and Vita version of the game are now expected in late-July or August. This sends the Abbey "into a zealous celebration," and all treatments will be free for that week. After successfully completing the Ruins Gather Holy Relics Quest, there's a high chance this event will trigger. The events can be related to quests, one example being the All Saints Day event.
